The house is Brisbane is still on the market this month and Paulie and Stephen take break from the tedium of open homes in Woolgoolga and Adelaide, Nick continues arranging accommodation in Brisbane, James soaks up Eurovision and is involved in a Lush Conference in Dorset, Olivia continues with her training, and is put on the books at work in a more senior role.
Sadly our good pal Daniel Chiquet died in France early on the morning of June 29th. Paulie and Stephen spent time inter & intrastate and continued with have the house spotless for sale. In Adelaide Olivia stated her bathroom renovation and met the challenges of her work. James and Keno continued their busy lives in Oxford and Nick continued his hunt for appropriate accommodation and tackled various challenges. A sad ending to a busy month.
Paulie and Stephen leave their Brisbane house sale to nephew Will to manage and head to France for a few months. All is well with them and the AthoTurnbull kids. Olivia's bathroom renovation is complete, Nick moves to mother Elizabeth's from good friend Jess's, and James and Keno get a groovy heat pump installed whilst Keno explores new career opportunities in AI (an Oxford PhD in neuropsych with programming skills is a grand fit) .
The second month in France was full of activities for Paulie & Stephen. In Adelaide Olivia trained for a half marathon, mentored new graduates, and enjoyed the company of friends. In Oxford James continued working for an Oxfam suffering from Trump ethnocentrism. Keno was offered a new role at Whitehall working on AI security. In Brisbane Nick settled into his rented space at the Powell/Radford-Smith home. Extra exciting news - the family home in Brisbane sold!
For the oldies the month started in England, and then moved to Brisbane where the family home was prepared for sale. Nick continued to look for work and settled into his accommodation at his mother's. James and Keno had a break in Japan before Keno started his new job. Olivia, joined by friend Cam, came to Brisbane for the wedding of the year and trained for an October marathon. A busy month for all.
The family home, "Chateau AthoTurnbull", is sold. Paulie & Stephen head south and become nomads until a new home is found. Olivia completes the Melbourne marathon. James and Keno work balance work and play, and Nick continues his residence downstairs at the Powell/Radford-Smith home in Brisbane.
Paulie has a birthday gathering in the Adelaide Hills with friends joining in from Adelaide, Brisbane, and Auckland. Olivia has a holiday in Sri Lanka. In Oxford James and Keno are visited by Keno's day for Keno's birthday. Nick chips in as pastry chef for his Grandma Margaret's 90th birthday party. The month wound up with on a somewhat dramatic note with Paulie admitted to the Acute Medical ward at the Royal Adelaide (but she recovered well).
Paulie and Stephen were getting close to moving into their new home in Adelaide. But for now there were various housesits and chores so 2026 will be "the year of an Adelaide home". James and Keno spent the festive season in Germany and then the AthoTurnbull pad in France. Olivia had her vineyard birthday having moved in with Cam and joined his family in NSW on Boxing Day . Nick Shared Christmas with his Taringa family and at his grandma's. Paulie and Stephen headed for Queensland at the end of the month (and year).
