December 2025 

3rd - Paulie and Stephen continued with taking advantage of Olivia's  generous offer to use her flat. It became Adelaide HQ for Paulie & Stephen. On the hot days, nothing worked better to cool down than a pistachio ice cream on Prospect Road. 5th - Cam took Olivia to a lovely dinner before her birthday. 6th - Olivia, Cam, and company headed to a team member's family pad in Victor Harbor to run the half marathon the next day
However.... Olivia spent the night in less than best form care of gastro so she and Cam pulled out of the half. 7th - Enthusiastic token geriatrics, Paulie & Stephen, headed to the "Home of Plenty" vineyard inland from Goolwa in the afternoon where the run group gathered after the run,  Olivia soldiered on for her birthday lunch . .
The duo decided to stay in Port Elliot for the night . 9th - a stirling lunch at the Stirling Hotel 11th - Paulie and Stephen asked the landlady around for a meal
. 13th - Our pal Greg Egan's father, Ted, had died at home in Alice Springs so the duo joined Casper for a few nights. Rosie & Greg's lovely pool was perfect on a hot day Although Stephen was as cautious as always before jumping in.
. Casper and her friend the door stop dutifully guarded the door. 14th - Being in an other part of town, and having just read Grantlee Kieza's book on Mary Penfold, Stephen and Paulie felt obliged to visit her grave at St George's church in Magill which was built in 1848. 16th - The trio got a bit of sun with Casper.
18th - It was clearly another hot day 20th - It was time to care for another cat! On the 20th the guys moved in with Matilda close to their first stay in St Peters. The owners were pals of Olivia's and joined family in Tasmania. The duo house & cat sat for 10 days Cam and Olivia joined the guys at their temporary home for dinner 21st - the girls meditated in the morning
Stephen meditated with his second cup of coffee 22nd - Stephen delivered Matilda a botanical overview of her owner's garden. Matilda was very impressed with the lecture. 23rd - The Oxford lads had a quick break in Paris  between trains. They were headed to Eppenbrunn in Germany to spend Christmas with Keno's family.
24th- Just like James and Keno, Paulie, Olivia and Stephen celebrated on Christmas Eve. Our generous host Krystina is of Polish decent, so a Polski feast was had. John and Krystina put on a grand gathering! Meanwhile in Brisbane, Nick (who was still renting downstairs and mother Elizabeth and Graham's) helped set up the Christmas tree. Parfait 25th - Back in Adelaide a Christmas breakfast was had with Olivia's Brit pals Hannah and Pat.
Olivia stayed the night at Matillda's house as Cam had headed to his family on the NSW central coast . And then the trio had a lovely dinner of prawns, champagne, and risotto. .
Olivia flew out the next morning to join Cam at his parent's place for a few days. Matilda was exhausted In Brisbane the Radford-Smith/Powell household celbrated in the evening. Earlier Nick visited a Christmas brunch at his Grandma's Nick received treatment using his Christmas gift from one of the Radford-Smith lads.
James was involved in kicking off a new podcast 27th - Stephen jumped on his bike back at Olivia's flat and pedalled out to Henley Beach. 32km was pushing it on a hot day And somewhere in France the Oxford lads had a few train delays as they headed to the family home in S.W. France. They decided to upgrade to 1st on the TGV. 28th - Because of delays, they arrived in Montauban after midnight. Not wanting to make family pal Michael collect them so late, they booked a taxi and Stephen tracked them to make sure he took the right route.
They arrived! 29th - In Adelaide Matilda guarded the champagne. She then helped Paulie sew 30th - the guys in France called in to brief Paulie and Stephen on the state of the house - humidity had caused some mould on some walls but Bleach Boy James took care of that.
The La Cachette garden was in good shape. In New South Wales the guys balanced exercise with ... ... vineyard and distillery visits. And of course family time
31st - Paulie and Stephen left Adelaide and headed for their first stop in Hay en route to Queensland 2000 + kilometres away. . A quick pit stop at Tooleybuc village beside the mighty Murray River on the New South Wales and Victorian border in the western Riverina district .

31st - Toasting to the new year with the chaps in NSW oops. Fingers should not cover camera lenes it seems . The WIlkinson Family enjoy Cam and Olivia's company
James and Keno walk up to La Halle in the village expecting some French New Year's Eve action. Seems not. Bring on 2026...
