The long ride back to England

Site updated on 14 Feb 2012

Paulie and Stephen left their pad in Provence for the drive back to England on Jan 7th. They decided to head to the slower ferry out of St Malo, Bretagne (Brittany) as opposed to the faster Calais or Dunkirk connections that they have used before. En route they revisited some towns and visited others for the first time. They stayed at Arles, Toulous, Rennes, and La Rochelle. Day trips to the Camargue and Mt St Michel (similar but grander to St Michaels Mount in Corwall that we all visited a few years back) were a great way to round up our time en France.

Olivia and Chloe were trekking around and they all met up at the Nimes railway station and hung out for a couple of nights in Arles. The last week of leave will be in Old Blighty with James and Neil.
