October was about 2 years since James moved to England on a working holiday visa. All the AthoTurnbull clan were waiting with interest to see if his application to remain in the UK would be granted. He applied in September. It wasn't! An appeal was held in Wales before a judge in the "First Tier Tribulal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber". The case was heard for 3 hours and James was impressed with the judge. After 3 weeks of waiting.... an 8 page ruling was delivered! James can stay on. He's delighted. We are all delighted for him ... but a bit sad. It has been over a year since we saw him, so it looks like another visit to the UK is in order in 2011! Below are the last few points of the ruling.
